Fis and Renick Bell's collaboration started in 2017 with a commissioned performance for Berlin Atonal.

Since then the pair have undertaken a performance and recording research project called Emergence. This project will be documented periodically on Saplings beginning with Emergence Vol. 1 on October 3rd.

This 18 track volume is a cross-section of palettes and techniques explored over four separate recording sessions since 2017.

Released biodigitally, Emergence Vol. 1 will fund a minimum of 100 trees per sale in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects. For more information on Eden's work, see - edenprojects.org

A note on pricing:

$10.00 US = approximately 100 trees with Eden Projects. The extra $2.50 covers bandcamp's commission and payment transfer fees.
